dbt Core Integration

We here at Metaplane have long been fans of dbt’s transformation tools. dbt Cloud, in fact, was one of Metaplane’s first integrations, and many of Metaplane’s customers use dbt to develop, test, and deploy their datasets.

Today, we’re excited to announce that dbt Core users can now unlock the power of Metaplane. Once you integrate the tools, you’ll get real-time monitoring for your dbt jobs with model granularity. Metaplane will also make use of the table-level lineage information in dbt, and show you the model-to-model connections in Metaplane’s rich lineage view.

This is just the first step in our integration with dbt Core—in the coming months we’ll continue to expand Metaplane’s monitoring and data quality capabilities for dbt Core customers.
