Metaplane updates: Webhooks, Hex integration and more
Metaplane Webhooks: Send incidents where you want, when you want
We now support webhooks for incident events, so you can send incidents where you want, when you want. While we offer native integrations with Slack, Microsoft Teams, PagerDuty, and others, webhooks allow you to notify any tool or platform not natively supported. Now you can:
- Integrate with custom notification systems
- Open/resolving incidents in OpsGenie, Incident.io, Grafana, or FireHydrant
- Create tickets in ClickUp, Jira, Shortcut, or Linear
- Trigger automations based on specific warehouse object failures via Zapier
Webhooks are triggered when incidents open, additional monitor failures occur, or incidents are resolved. This feature is available on all plans, including free accounts. Get started by setting up a webhook in your Metaplane alert settings or check out our docs.
Metaplane's crystal ball: predict your next connection
Automatically suggest connections you can start monitoring based on query history, service accounts, and through other integrations. When Metaplane discovers an integration, the platform adds a suggested integration on the left hand navigation.

Metaplane's Hex-cellent lineage magic
Get visibility of Hex lineage on monitor pages and in Slack alerts, as well as metrics to track views over time for each project. The integration uses Hex query comments from the last 21 days to power lineage. Available now through the connections page in Metaplane.
